Do you require monitoring?
Do you lease or sell your alarm systems?Yes. We require each alarm system installed to be monitored by our central station in addition to a 24 month agreement. Most people today are not bothered by the shear sound of a siren or are afraid to become involved in their neighbor’s business. Also, monitoring enables us to ensure the system remains functional and problem free.
We sell all of our systems outright. The system belongs to you This allows us to offer lower monitoring rates. Â Owning your system adds value to your home, and when you move, we don’t come remove the alarm system.
Do I need a land line telephone on the premises?
No. Our technology allows us to monitor systems without the need of land line telephone service. In fact, we recommend using a digital cellular device over land line telephone service due to the inconsistent reliability of today’s telephone providers.
Where is your central monitoring station?
Monitoring burglar alarms and safety systems since 1978, our central monitoring station is UL Listed and located right here in Longwood, Florida. Their alarm traffic is load balanced between 3 offices offering triple redundant monitoring services in case of natural disasters.
Do you offer video surveillance?
Yes. In today’s world having just an audible alarm is old technology. We offer remote video surveillance for both your home and office which is easily accessible from anywhere in the world via your smart phone or web based computer. Will my security system still operate should it lose power?
Yes. The security system will still operate as normal if the site premises were to lose power. In addition, the system will report back to us notifying us of a power loss as well as a low battery; if such were to occur.
How can I change or assign new user codes?
You can change or assign user codes following the steps inside your user’s manual left with you during the initial installation of your alarm system. If you cannot locate these instructions or if you are having problems contact our office and we will be more than happy to assist you.
How can I change my contact list?
Contact our office or the central monitoring station and provide us with the revisions you would like to make. You can also e-mail this request to us.
What if I move into a new home or office?
We sell our alarm systems outright, meaning you can decide to take your alarm system main components with you or leave them at the current location. Leaving them at the current location will increase the property’s value while also allowing you to receive the newest security products available for your new home or office.
Can the system be disabled by unauthorized users?
No. Our alarm systems are specifically engineered to eliminate this problem. When setting up users we classify them into certain groups which have different privileges. For example, if we issue a “baby sitter” code this user can only activate the alarm system. In addition this user can only deactivate the alarm system if that exact code was used to activate it. Meaning your baby-sitter will NOT have the authorization to disable the system if you’re away on vacation and he/she is not permitted to be on the premises. Furthermore, this is why we stress that each and every person authorized on the system has their own personal user code; not to be shared.
How fast will authorities be notified in case of a breech?
Our local central station will respond within seconds of receiving an alarm signal. By sending alarm specific information we are able to contact the correct authorities in case of a break in, fire, or life safety. Most unique, our systems can report the exact door, window, or smoke detector that set off the alarm.
Can I set up automatic payments?
Yes. Just contact our office at (407) 878-2052 and provide us with your account number, first & last name. We will send you an automatic payment form to be completed and returned. You can also email the request to us.
